1. Smithsonian Museum Day 2020

About: Museums across the country will have free admissions throughout the day for everyone! That’s right – no payment required for a ticket to the Nichols House Museum, the Harvard Museum of Natural History, and the USS Constitution Museum among others. 2. Kids Cook

Ages: 7 to 13
About: Let the kids take over the kitchen in this fun program! Children will learn how to work together and create simply but delicious dishes. All dishes are vegetarian friendly and nut-free. Families must pre-register.

3. The Boston Patriots’ Day Parade

The parade will start off with a flag-raising ceremony on City Hall Plaza, followed by a procession to the graves of famous Patriots. 4. April Vacation Week at Mary Baker Eddy Library!

About: Enjoy April Vacation week with the different activities organized at Mary Baker Eddy Library! With specially made activities for each age group, kids will have fun creating community-based projects that can impact their own neighborhoods. The Mapparium is free for kids 17 and under.

5. Harvard Arts First Festival

About: Enjoy this family friendly arts festival in the middle of Harvard Yard! Kids will enjoy seeing a variety of visual arts, global dance styles, music performances, theater, and public art. Families will have fun with the many exhibitions and art-making opportunities.
