Winter wonderland

Boston has been hit by blizzard after blizzard recently with even more snow on the way. If you are one of the BPS students and families that have been staying home from work and school, we’ve got a way for you to play the snow days away. Winter can be your wonderland as long as you are bundled to the brim to stay toasty and dry while playing in the snow. Our friends from the Franklin Park Coalition are inviting you and your family to join in the fun of sledding, building snow people, and bonding over a good snowball toss before warming up with friends indoors. Meet down at the Franklin Park Golf Clubhouse THIS SATURDAY for the Franklin Park Indoor-Snow Festival starting at 1pm. The fun officially runs until 4pm. But when school is out and the snow is in, you make your own schedule of nonstop fun. So whether you play at Franklin Park or the snowy field that is your own backyard, make snow something to smile about. For more resources for where to sled and skate in Boston, check out our previous posts “Sledding Season” and “Boston on Ice.”
