Fair Foods Inc. is a non-profit organization that began as a group of local neighbors seeing expensive produce in grocery stores go to waste. As a result, Fair Foods began creating relationships with produce distributors who would donate surplus food to distribute throughout the Boston Metro Area.
Fair Foods Inc. signature “Two Dollars a Bag” program provides large bags of mixed fresh produce for a suggested donation of two dollars.
Each bag offers about twelve pounds of fresh produce. Fair Foods has no eligibility requirements, no registration, and no ID checks.
