Healthy Thanksgiving Side Dishes

Forget about the turkey – side dishes and desserts are the centerpiece of Thanksgiving dinner! Whether it’s mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, or cranberry sauce, everyone has a favorite! This year, try one of these healthier – but still delicious – options:

Instead of mashed sweet potatoes or baked mini potatoes, try this colorful honey roasted butternut squash with cranberries and feta. The cranberries and parsley add zest to this warm dish. It’s also easy to prepare ahead. Cut up the butternut squash and parsley a few days before. Toss the squash and cranberries together and bake on Thanksgiving day.
