1. Lunar New Year Celebration at the Museum of Fine Arts

2. A Pretty Fine Pine Nature Walk

Date: February 1st, 2020 from 10:30am-12pm
Location: Boston Nature Center and Wildlife Sanctuary, 500 Walk Hill Street, Mattapan, MA 02126

Ages: All ages, preferably kids ages 5 to 13
About: Kids get to learn about the winter habits of different animals and trees during this interactive nature walk. They can explore the winter ecosystem with park rangers firsthand!
Transportation: Accessible via bus at American Legion Highway & Walk Hill Street or Blue Hill Avenue & Morton Street. The Forest Hills T Station is a 1-mile walk away.  Parking available onsite.

3. Tunnel of Love

Date: February 4th-February 28, 2020, every night
Location: Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park, 110 Atlantic Avenue, Boston, MA 02110

Ages: All ages
About: Celebrate the spirit of Valentine’s Day all month long with Columbus Park’s beautifully decorated trellis. Dance and move to the music as you walk through the lighted tunnel. It’s a fun and active way to enjoy the holiday!

4. Music and Movement

Date: Every Tuesday, February 4th, 2020 – May 26th 2020, 10am
Location: BCYF Roslindale Community Center, 6 Cummins Highway, Roslindale, MA 02131

About: Sing songs and dance to music in English and Spanish! Music and movement also includes free play and story-time. This is a great way for toddlers and young children to burn off energy before naptime!

6. Children’s Winter Festival 2020 

Date: February 20th, 2020 from 11am-2pm
Location: Boston Common Parade Ground (Corner of Beacon and Charles Street), Boston, MA 02111

About: Come to the Boston Common for the annual Children’s Winter Festival! Kids will enjoy bouncing in the 30-foot high inflatable moon bounce, running through the Snow Mazing maze, and sliding down the Toboggan Tunnel roller lanes. Other activities include mural painting, a giant Connect-4 game, and an obstacle course.

7. STEAM Saturday at BCYF Leahy-Holloran

About: The New England Aquarium is coming to BCYF-Leahy Holloran for a fun-filled Saturday! Try out a variety of interactive science, technology, engineering, art, and math activities. Kids can find out if they’re taller than a whale rib, learn more about the ocean, and participate in different experiments and crafts.
