Five years ago, First Lady Michelle Obama, brought us Let’s Move, an initiative focused on spreading facts, figures, and fun related to children’s wellness in this country. Now, to celebrate her initiative’s fifth birthday, FLOTUS is calling on champions for kids’ wellbeing to inspire Americans to eat brighter, more colorful fruits and veggies. Last year Let’s Move partnered with Sesame Workshop, the Produce Marketing Association (PMA), and the Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA) to make buying and eating fresh produce the easy choice for families. Now they have taken over the grocery store with Sesame Street characters marketing over 100 types of fruits and veggies! Check out this fun video of the First Lady with Big Bird and their pal Billy Eichner of Billy on the Street as they play in the produce section of one of the 30,000 grocery stores participating in the Eat Brighter! campaign.
